Job summary

A progressive housing organization in Invergordon is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to oversee property compliance and tenant safety programmes. This role involves leadership of a compliance team and coordination of services related to safety and reporting. Contract Terms: 35 hours per week (full time), permanent
Salary: £47,496 - £50,410, Grade SO3-SO1 + car allowance
Location: Invergordon with hybrid working
Closing Date: Sunday 23rd November 2025

About the Role
Albyn Housing Society is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to oversee the delivery of our property compliance and tenant safety programmes. This is a hybrid working position offering a blend of office and remote working.

As part of the team, the role will co-ordinate high quality frontline services across all aspects of our day to day compliance and cyclical activities, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations, fire safety, asbestos management, legionella compliance, radon, and damp and mould reporting.

The role will provide leadership, support and guidance to other members of the compliance team and contribute towards ensuring robust management of our external contractors.

As part of the wider senior officer group, the role will co-ordinate the creation and scrutiny of routine operational reports and present to internal colleagues and management teams.

We’re looking for someone who…

  • Is a real team player who enjoys working with colleagues to deliver the best possible outcomes.
  • Demonstratable experience of working in a supervisory or management position within a property related or health and safety environment, for example facilities management, housing, construction, property management or engineering.
  • Has a good working knowledge of both property compliance and health and safety legislation, alongside operational planned preventative maintenance best practice.
  • Is competent in the use of Microsoft packages, asset management software, and the production of formal written reports.
  • Has experience of managing contractors or subcontractors, including the use of KPIs.
