We're working with a FABULOUS leading international law firm with presence across UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Looking to expand their growing global compliance team.


This is a great opportunity for a global compliance and sanctions expert. Looking for a senior lawyer to join their function to update policies, support client relationships and make sure everything is on track.


You’ll be the firm’s go-to expert for all things sanctions.


Advising on global regimes, reporting to OFSI, shaping policy, and training teams to navigate ever-changing rules, all while keeping things practical and human. Working in the centre of a global Risk & Compliance function, working closely with senior leadership.


The Role?


  • Lead firm-wide sanctions compliance across multiple jurisdictions

  • Advise on complex sanctions issues, reporting & due diligence

  • Liaise with OFSI and banking partners

  • Keep policies, systems & processes sharp and effective

  • Deliver engaging training to partners and fee earners

  • Collaborate across offices, ensuring consistency and confidence in compliance


Who you are:


  • 🔹 Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales), ideally 6–10 years’ PQE

  • 🔹 Experienced in sanctions and financial crime (international firm background ideal)

  • 🔹 Commercially minded, calm under pressure, and quietly persuasive
