Job summary

A reputable organisation in the UK is seeking a dedicated Senior / Compliance Administrator to join their compliance team. You will monitor compliance with regulations and enhance existing controls. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Educated to A level or equivalent with strong grades.
  • Competent IT user with solid knowledge of the MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Review a sample of new client documentation for compliance.
  • Undertake periodic reviews of higher risk client files.
  • Maintain compliance registers to document occurrences.
  • Conduct Anti-Money Laundering searches and screening checks.
  • Assist with conducting gap analyses between legislation and policies.
  • Participate in compliance team meetings.

Job description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior / Compliance Administrator to join their compliance team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on monitoring and enhancing the controls in place, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall compliance framework. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who is keen to develop their skills within a reputable organisation.

Job Duties:
  • Review a sample of new client documentation to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Undertake periodic reviews of Politically Exposed Persons and Higher Risk client files to identify emerging risks.
  • Maintain compliance registers to document newly identified occurrences.
  • Conduct Anti-Money Laundering searches and other screening checks; prepare internal documentation as necessary.
  • Assist with conducting gap analyses between legislation and the organisation's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in compliance team meetings and implement decisions or carry out activities as required.
  • Undertake any projects as directed by the compliance team.
Job Requirements:
  • Educated to A level or equivalent with strong grades.
  • Completed or willing to study for an ICA qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Competent IT user with solid knowledge of the MS Office suite.
