Job summary

A leading insurance firm in the Greater London area seeks a Complaints Officer to oversee the management of complaints. You will ensure that all complaints are recognized and handled in compliance with regulatory timescales, while collaborating with various teams to achieve the best customer outcomes. The role requires over 7 years of experience in a compliance role, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of compliance/regulatory experience in complaint handling or insurance.
  • 5+ years of experience in delegated business is beneficial.
  • Worked directly with customers or in a retail insurance environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all complaints are recognised and recorded.
  • Manage complaints in line with the company complaints procedure.
  • Collaborate with trading teams for optimal complaint outcomes.
  • Prepare complaint reports for distribution to committees.
