Job summary

TLT LLP's Competition, Regulatory & Trade team is seeking an experienced Competition Lawyer to advise UK and international clients on antitrust matters, including merger control and investigations. The role offers exposure to regulatory issues and a broad, multidisciplinary practice, with a flexible hybrid working approach across multiple UK offices.

You will develop client relationships, contribute to business development, and mentor junior lawyers as part of a collaborative national team.

Qualifications

Qualified Solicitor with circa 5–10PQE and broader regulatory experience would be valuable.
Experience across merger control, competition investigations, disputes, compliance programs and training.
Understanding of consumer protection investigations and Digital Markets Competition and Consumers Act is beneficial.
Ability to engage with clients and colleagues at all levels with first-class communication.
Proven track record in business development and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

Advising clients on antitrust matters, from merger control to investigations and disputes, plus compliance training.
Undertaking National Security and Investment Act analyses and notifications.
Developing new work opportunities and strengthening client relationships through BD and client care.
Knowledge-sharing and supervising junior lawyers within a cross-office team.
