Mitchells & Bars? Mitchells & Butlers is recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel to join a small, collaborative Legal Team in Birmingham. You will own and advise on commercial contracts and technology projects, working closely with stakeholders across the business to enable opportunities while managing risk.

You will provide clear, pragmatic legal input on diverse matters including privacy, brand protection and regulatory enquiries, with ownership from instruction to conclusion.

Qualificações

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with relevant UK commercial law experience.
• Significant commercial contracts experience and ability to manage matters independently.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Sound commercial judgement and a pragmatic, proportionate approach to legal risk.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and terms across the group.
• Provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice on contractual matters.
• Support procurement, technology and marketing initiatives with timely legal input.
• Build effective relationships and provide responsive, solutions-focused support to colleagues at all levels.
• Oversee external legal advisers and manage budget and progress.
