Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 7 years of experience. Experience and training in single handed care reviews.

Shropshire Council is conducting a Single-Handed Care Review project, which involves evaluating existing care packages for clients in Shropshire. The role entails performing 10 single-handed assessments per week over 15 weeks, aiming to provide appropriate equipment to reduce the reliance on carers, thereby enhancing independence and improving clients' wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ordering and managing equipment needs assessed under the Care Act (2014)
  • Collaborating closely with the Adult Social Care team to reassess existing support plans
