  • Experience post registration as a Band 5 occupational therapist in rehab or community setting

Responsibilities

  • To undertake specialised assessments and implement treatment plans for clients
  • To provide supervision and support to junior therapists and students
  • To participate in service development opportunities and audits

Skills

Skills in the assessment and treatment of adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological conditions and multi-pathologies
Ability to problem solve, prioritise and demonstrate clinical reasoning
Basic IT skills - Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Teaching of junior staff / students

Education

Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy
Current HCPC registration
Post graduate degree in relevant area
