An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated nurse to join our Helensburgh & Lomond District Nursing Team as a Band 6 District Nurse – Development Post (Annex 21).
This post offers a supported development pathway into a District Nurse leadership role within a busy, forward‑thinking community nursing team. The successful applicant will work within a supervised and structured development framework while undertaking the NES Integrated Community Nursing Pathway (including V300 Prescribing) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
The Helensburgh & Lomond locality covers a mixed urban and rural population of around 26,000 patients across five GP practices. The team delivers complex, person‑centred care seven days per week, including palliative and end‑of‑life care for over 95% of patients who choose to die at home.
This is a 12‑month development post under Agenda for Change Annex 21. During this period, the post‑holder will:
