A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join their team. You will provide compassionate care for individuals experiencing complex mental health disorders, managing medications and developing personalized care plans. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to support service users from diagnosis to recovery. As part of our Community Transformation programme, we have an opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our established Multidisciplinary team. The aim of the service is to provide recovery-focused treatment and support via personalised care plans for individuals who are presenting with a range of mental health disorders: supporting them from diagnosis to recovery, to enable them to lead the lives they wish to live. You will work with a Multidisciplinary Team: a spectrum of clinical professionals, which includes Nurses, Psychologists, Support Time Recovery workers, etc.
We are looking for a positive team player who has a special interest in working compassionately with individuals and their wider support networks.
To work collaboratively with system partners, service users, carers and the multi‑disciplinary team to deliver robust and focused care interventions for individuals who are experiencing mental health conditions that are complex.
To support with medication management; including depot administration and Clozapine Clinic, as required.
To act as a Care Co‑ordinator; undertaking comprehensive initial assessments, care plans and risk assessments/management plans.
To support team colleagues and students on placement with the service to increase knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment options.
