You will lead long-term campaigns, shape messaging, develop thought leadership, and oversee research quality, while coaching junior teams and supporting new business pitches.
Location: London, Hybrid with 2 days in a Central London office.
Our client is a leading public relations and communications firm focused on fast-growth technology businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and the wider VC ecosystem. It supports clients across the UK, Europe and North America through expert consultancy, integrated communications strategies and meaningful connections within its specialist network.
The consultancy works with businesses across technology and investment, including start-ups, venture capital and private equity firms, corporates, professional services firms, accelerators and events. Its mission is to help ambitious organisations achieve their objectives through impactful communications and trusted advice.
As Senior Communications Analyst/Account Director, you will act as a trusted strategic adviser to clients, drawing on your understanding of technology, venture capital and the wider investment market to develop communications strategies that support their commercial objectives.
You will analyse market developments, investment trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies, translating your findings into clear recommendations for clients. Using your knowledge of the VC ecosystem, you will help businesses understand their positioning, identify opportunities to strengthen their reputation and develop narratives that resonate with investors, customers and other key stakeholders.
You will lead long-term communications and campaign planning, ensuring day-to-day activity reflects both client priorities and the market in which they operate. This will include shaping messaging, developing thought leadership, identifying emerging opportunities and reputational risks, and overseeing the quality of research, written content and strategic recommendations.
You will support and develop account teams, manage workloads, coach junior and mid-level colleagues, and take responsibility for the performance and progression of direct reports. The role also involves leading new business activity, bringing informed perspectives to pitches, identifying opportunities for organic account growth and contributing to agency-wide initiatives and decision-making as part of the senior team.
