Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to provide expert leadership for commissioning teams across multiple projects. You will define commissioning strategies, lead technical decisions, and act as the primary liaison with clients and regulators.

The role emphasizes strategic customer relationships, environmental impact, and compliance across high-risk projects. You will work in Rugby with hybrid working and travel to customer sites, contributing to energy efficiency and waste

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control Engineering or related field.
Proven expertise with Rockwell Automation and ICONICS Genesis64 SCADA.
Experience leading commissioning across multi-vendor environments and compliance.

Responsibilities

Provides executive leadership for commissioning teams across multiple projects.
Defines commissioning strategies, architectures, and resource allocation.
Acts as primary technical liaison with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
Cultivates strategic customer relationships and proposals for new work.
Drives environmental framework to maximise energy efficiency and waste reduction.
Provides governance ensuring regulatory compliance and environmental benefits.
