Join Our Team as a Senior Commissioning Engineer (Electrical - Weapons)

Location: Barrow-In-Furness

Salary: Starting from £35,802 (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Power Up: Take charge of the initial power of equipment and integrate it with the platform.
  • Testing Phase: Collaborate with the build team to start initial testing of equipment.
  • Safety First: Conduct safe testing of equipment and operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders towards a common goal.
  • Documentation: Create test documentation and align systems with the build programme.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in a related discipline or STEM subject.
  • Experience with combat systems.
  • Knowledge of safety controls and procedures in a high‑risk environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with Instrumentation Systems, including Electrostatic Discharge, Low Voltage Control, Data Communications, and Fibre Optics.
