Job description

As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for the commissioning of both addressable and non-addressable fire systems from a range of leading manufacturers. Your day-to-day will include:

Responsibilities

• Independently commissioning fire systems to the highest standards.
• Reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Leading the resolution of complex technical issues and system faults.
• Escalating site or system issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
• Completing accurate and timely reports, timesheets, and expenses.
• Supporting other departments when needed, including occasional callouts.
• Configuring systems, testing software, and validating cause-and-effect functionality.
• Identifying potential sales opportunities while on site.
• Working occasional unsocial hours (night work).

• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to produce clear engineering reports and handover documentation.
• Excellent interpretation of technical specs and architectural drawings.
• A self-motivated, results-driven approach with strong organisational skills.
• Professional, customer-focused communication and interpersonal skills.
