A leading media company is seeking a Senior Commissioning Editor to assist with managing a digital hub in London. The role involves planning and editing original content, liaising with writers, and coordinating with reporters. Ideal candidates will have strong writing skills and experience in a fast-paced editorial environment. The position offers a one-year fixed-term contract based in Edinburgh.
The Times and Sunday Times launched a dedicated London hub in early 2025, bringing together our existing coverage of the capital and adding value with original reporting, interviews, and features on the topics Londoners care the most about.
We are now recruiting for a Senior Commissioning Editor on a one year fixed term contract to assist the London editor with running the digital hub, expanding our coverage of London, and exploring new commercial opportunities including events.
