Midland Heart Ltd. is seeking a Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join our in-house Property Legal Team on a full-time, permanent basis in the United Kingdom.

You’ll report to the Head of Home Ownership & Commercial Property and give commercially focused property advice to internal clients, supporting leasehold and commercial interests. You’ll manage a varied property caseload, supervise Property Solicitors, oversee staircasing, and act as an authorised signatory to deliver a proactive,

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial post-qualification experience in property law.
• Strong knowledge of leasehold and commercial property matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases and related documents.
• Experience managing property transactions end-to-end while balancing legal risk, commercial considerations, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused property legal advice to internal clients for leasehold and commercial interests.
• Manage a varied commercial property caseload and supervise Property Solicitors.
• Oversee staircasing process and ensure timely, efficient transactions.
• Sign documents as an authorised signatory under Governance Framework and delegated authority.
• Monitor external advisers and work with Housing Legal Team to improve processes and efficiencies.
