Job summary

Leonardo UK seeks a Senior commercial professional to lead a sub-sector within CS3, capable of guiding complex commercial activities and mentoring others. The role is based in a hybrid setting with a Bristol focus but additional UK locations may apply.

You will influence programme performance, develop pricing approaches, and identify commercial risks and opportunities while ensuring governance and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and data-driven decision-making are essential.

Salary: £53,000 - £58,000

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Your impact

We are looking for a Senior commercial professional who will take responsibility for a sub-sector within CS3 who is capable of leading complex commercial activities, influencing business decisions, mentoring others and operating with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Bring

• Lead complex contractual activities throughout the contract life-cycle whilst protecting Leonardo's commercial position.
• Use their commercial knowledge and business understanding to influence programme performance and business outcomes.
• Develop pricing approaches and negotiation strategies that maximise business value.
• Lead the identification, quantification and management of commercial risks and opportunities.
• Provide assurance that commercial activities comply with governance, delegated authority and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the commercial function and develops strong commercial relationships that deliver value.
• Provide commercial leadership across Integrated Project Teams.
• Use data, insight and judgement to influence commercial decisions.
• Develop capability within the commercial team through coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer.
