Job summary

Amey Ltd. is seeking a Permanent Senior QS/Senior Commercial Manager to join the Eastern and Southern team, working on the TfL framework.

The role is hybrid, 37.5 hours per week, spanning London and surrounding areas, with responsibility for commercial management from tender through final account and risk control across multiple schemes. You will lead subcontract management, cost planning, change control, and reporting, while developing junior commercial staff and ensuring contractual

Qualifications

• Rail, Highways or Civil engineering quantity surveying experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, cost planning and reporting controls.
• Development/training of junior commercial team members.
• Expert Excel user.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Knowledge of financial accounting systems (SAP, COINS, ORACLE).

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized infrastructure projects for TfL across London and surrounding areas.
• Cost planning and value reporting.
• Subcontract/design management.
• Change control and maintenance of trackers.
• Drafting EWNs, Change/Compensation events.
• Commercial administrative processes.
• Subcontractor procurement process.
• Overall reporting control for rail systems delivery.
