Job summary

ERSG Ltd is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function across a portfolio of renewable connection projects nationwide. The role is Midlands-based with hybrid working and requires experience on high-value contracts (£5m–£50m).

You will lead commercial governance and manage stakeholders across nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• FIDIC experience is essential.
• JCT and NEC experience would be advantageous.
• Strong experience managing lump-sum/fixed-price contracts.

Freelance Requirement

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to take a leading commercial role across a portfolio of major renewable connection projects nationwide.

This is a senior leadership position suited to someone who has spent a significant period operating at a senior commercial level and is comfortable managing complex, high-value projects from a commercial and contractual perspective.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for providing strong commercial leadership across projects including:

• BESS / Battery Storage
• Wind Farms
• Renewable energy and grid connection infrastructure
• Projects typically ranging from £5m–£50m

What I'm Looking For

• Background across BESS, data centres, wind farms or associated energy infrastructure
• FIDIC experience is essential
• JCT and NEC experience would be advantageous
• Strong experience managing lump-sum / fixed-price contracts
• Commercial responsibility across projects valued between £5m–£50m
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and commercial governance experience
• Ability to operate nationally across a portfolio of projects
• Midlands-based with flexibility for hybrid working and nationwide project coverage
