Job summary

Porterhouse Recruitment advertises for a Commercial Project Manager in High Wycombe to lead glazing, window, door and façade projects from award to handover. You will manage cross-functional teams across design, procurement, manufacturing and site installation, ensuring safety, programme adherence and budget control.

The role includes CDM compliance and CPP oversight where acting as Principal Contractor. Essentially you will coordinate stakeholders, manage budgets and provide accurate reporting

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial glazing/windows/façade projects end-to-end.
• CSCS Manager level and SMSTS qualification.
• Strong planning, leadership and coordination capabilities.
• Experience overseeing design, procurement, manufacture and installation.
• Commercial understanding: subcontract orders, valuations and budgets.
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing or production teams.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, RAMS and CPPs.
• Proficient with MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from contract award through design, procurement, manufacture, installation and handover.
• Prepare and maintain project programmes with critical dates and risks.
• Coordinate Designers, Surveyors, Procurement, Manufacturing, Site Teams.
• Oversee drawings, surveys and design approvals; ensure Building Regulations compliance.
• Issue information to procurement/manufacturing aligned with programme.
• Manage material procurement, subcontract orders and supplier performance.
• Coordinate production capacity and site deliveries with manufacturing.
• Control project budgets, forecasts, variations and payments.
• Provide client valuations and contractual reporting.
• Ensure RAMS are reviewed and approved before works commence.
• Maintain project, commercial, and Health & Safety records including CPP when Principal Contractor.
