ABOUT YOUR ROLE
This commercially-focused finance role is aligned with specific trading environments within CCEP GB and serves as a finance co-pilot to one of CCEP's sector-leading commercial teams, providing structured and ad hoc financial insight and analysis. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be an effective business partner, working alongside the Senior Finance Manager to support profitable, fact-based decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Commercial teams, using your experience to drive real business impact, while also learning from a diverse group with varied perspectives across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
- Analysis of monthly volume, revenue, and gross profit performance, while supporting Commercial Teams with projections and performance insights.
- Assisting in preparing the annual business plan by working with Commercial Sales teams to meet volume and GP targets.
- Reviewing and report on environmental, customer, and brand performance on a regular basis, evaluating business proposals, promotions, and pricing strategies.
- Providing recommendations on business decisions, support customer revenue discussions, and analyse the effectiveness of customer investments.
- Coaching and develop internal teams to improve their understanding of CCEP financial systems and reporting tools.
- Serve as a key business partner to the sales team, leveraging relationship‑building skills to influence decisions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and a shared services Centre of Excellence, to enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities.
- Involvement in period end consolidation for Wholesale team to understand drivers of performance and identifying process improvements.
LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU!
- Proven experience in a commercial finance environment, ideally within FMCG, with expertise in analysing revenue and its components.
- Partially or fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and create insightful reports.
- Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across departments to drive financial performance.
- Excellent analytical thinking and business acumen, capable of evaluating financial risks and making sound recommendations.
- Solid understanding of risk management, financial controls, and a commitment to process and operational excellence.
