As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in delivering reliable insights to our decision-makers. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking will empower our Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams to achieve their goals. You’ll lead the charge in enhancing our processes, tools, and systems, ensuring they align with our ambitious company objectives. Your analytical prowess will help us navigate through monthly activities, exciting projects, and emerging trends.
Drive Performance: Conduct high-quality analysis of all commercial aspects, focusing on sales performance and revenue generation. Your insights will be vital for our C‑Suite and senior management.
Collaborate Across Teams: Build strong partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment that drives success.
Master Data Analysis: Utilise commercial reporting tools to analyse end‑to‑end sales processes, transforming raw data into critical business insights that fuel sustainable revenue growth.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor key performance indicators and macroeconomic factors that may impact our business, proactively analysing and modelling these trends.
Innovate Reporting Processes: Continuously seek ways to automate and streamline reporting, ensuring our data is always relevant and actionable.
Lead with Expertise: Provide support to the Head of Commercial Reporting & Analysis and contribute to development projects, ensuring alignment with DHL UK financial reporting.
Advanced analytical skills with ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Expert proficiency in MS Excel; advanced MS Access; strong knowledge of SQL (Snowflake), and Power BI (DAX query writing a plus).
Exceptional communication skills – able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Highly numerate, detail‑oriented, and methodical.
Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge constructively.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of managing workload independently.
Demonstrable experience in driving value creation initiatives.
Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex organisational structures, and drive consensus on strategic decisions.
Minimum 5 years in a data analysis or commercial analytics role, ideally within a complex, fast‑paced environment.
Proven track record of delivering insights that drive business performance.
Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and influencing decision‑making in a complex, matrixed organisation.
