About Us

Balfour Beatty is looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Administrator to join our Asset & Technology Solutions (ATS) business, based from our Derby office.

This is a key support role within our Site Services Commercial Team, working across our Modular, Fire Services and Survey Services businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing and collating documentation to support monthly applications for payment.
  • Supporting operations and procurement teams by coordinating commercial information for gate papers on new opportunities.
  • Assisting with the preparation of figures for month‑end accounts.
  • Raising and managing requests for information and quotations via the Jaggaer portal.
  • Supporting business managers with the monthly billing process.
  • Collating evidence to support customer charges.
  • Managing timesheet administration.
  • Maintaining accurate commercial records and document control.
  • Supporting ongoing digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Who we’re looking for
  • Strong IT literacy, with confidence using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Teams.
  • A tenacious attitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Industry knowledge, ideally within construction, infrastructure or related sectors.
  • An understanding of commercial functions and processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
