Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of data migration solutions from legacy systems (e.g. Oracle E-Business Suite R12) into Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM.
- Define data mapping, transformation, and validation logic using agreed templates (e.g. CV040, Data Migration Catalogue).
- Build and automate ETL processes using Version1's propriety DM tool CloudBridge, OIC, SQL/PLSQL, FBDI, and HDL.
- Develop reusable utilities and automation scripts to optimise iterative migration cycles.
- Collaborate with business SMEs for data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment.
- Produce reconciliation and variance reports to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Manage cut-over execution, including sequencing, validations, and post-load verification.
- Enforce data-security, masking, and retention controls in line with programme policies.
- Mentor junior consultants and drive continuous improvement of migration and integration practices.
This is a hands‑on position suited to an experienced Oracle Cloud technical professional, capable of leading technical workstreams, working collaboratively across architecture and functional teams, and mentoring junior resources within a structured delivery environment.
Integration
- Design and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) between Fusion SaaS, EPM and third‑party systems.
- Develop interfaces using BICC, FBDI, HDL, and Oracle SaaS APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Configure secure connectivity (SFTP, certificates, OCI Vault), error handling, and retry mechanisms.
- Collaborate with architects and functional leads to align design with business processes and reporting requirements.
Reporting
- Develop and validate data extracts, reports, and dashboards using BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI for reconciliation and data quality assurance.
- Collaborate with analytics teams leveraging Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) to ensure traceable data lineage and analytics readiness.
- Build validation and control reports to support migration and test cycles.
Governance & Quality
- Adhere to agreed technical standards, governance, and audit frameworks across all delivery artefacts.
- Conduct peer reviews and manage version control through Git / VBS repositories.
- Support SIT, UAT, and Dress Rehearsal phases including validation, defect resolution, and documentation.
- Contribute to post‑go‑live assurance and knowledge‑transfer activities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud technical experience (ERP and/or HCM).
- Proven experience delivering data migration on large‑scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with FBDI, HDL, SQL/PLSQL, and Excel‑based data mapping.
- Working knowledge of OIC, BIP, OTBI, and BICC for data extract and reconciliation.
- In‑depth understanding of Oracle SaaS data models (AP, AR, PO, GL, HR, Payroll).
- Familiarity with OCI components, Object Storage, ATP/ADW, Vault for secure data operations.
- Experience managing multi‑cycle migrations, reconciliation, and cut‑over activities.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within structured, multi‑wave public‑sector programmes governed by robust assurance and audit controls.
- This role requires candidates to be eligible for SC clearance, which includes having a minimum of 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- Knowledge of Oracle Visual Builder, Oracle Process Automation (OPA), or APEX for validation dashboards.
- Exposure to UK public‑sector environments and UK Gov Cloud controls.
- Familiarity with ETL accelerators and related automation tools.
- Awareness of data‑security and assurance frameworks (NCSC CAF, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus).
- Oracle certifications in Cloud Platform, OIC, or Data Integration.
