Job summary

Standardbankgroup is seeking an experienced Enterprise Technology & Solutions Architect to develop, design, and maintain solution architectures across business and technical areas. The role focuses on defining functional and non-functional requirements, analyzing trade-offs, and ensuring strategic technology alignment.

The candidate will leverage robust experience in multiple IT disciplines, agile practices, and extensive solution design to deliver high-impact architectures for complex platforms

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in Information Technology is required.
• 5–7 years' experience in Enterprise Technology & Solutions Architecture.
• Experience across multiple IT disciplines: development, analysis, design, service management, architecture.
• Strong understanding of Agile, LEAN and SCRUM with teamwork across teams.
• 8–10 years' experience in designing innovative tech solutions (e.g., Authentication Systems, ESA, Business/Information/Application Architecture).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Agile principles and contribute to continuous delivery maturity.
• Design, develop, and maintain solution architectures for defined areas within programmes.
• Assess and evaluate RFI/RFP responses and provide input against architecture criteria.
• Provide alignment assessments of solution architectures with engineering, business strategies, and governance.
• Ensure technology architecture remains strategically aligned with business outcomes.
