Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to shape and secure our cloud environment across Manchester, Staines or London. This permanent hybrid role offers up to 3 days WFH and a salary from £80k to £100k plus a 10% bonus, with a 37.5 hour week.

You will design, deploy and optimise CSPM, CNAPP, CWPP and CIEM technologies while ensuring governance and compliance across platforms. You’ll collaborate with security, compliance and technology teams, mentor peers, and help mature cloud security

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and operating CSPM, CNAPP, CWPP and CIEM in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, Well-Architected Frameworks and CIS controls.
• Experience with automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Python and REST APIs.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication to explain complex cloud security concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, integrate, deploy and maintain CSPM, CWPP, CIEM and CNAPP tech.
• Provide SME guidance for scalable, resilient cloud security solutions.
• Integrate cloud security tooling with cloud platforms and enterprise systems (e.g., AD, MS Entra).
• Support product management to drive improvements in controls, IaC, CI/CD and DevOps.
• Ensure security platforms align with evolving regulatory and security requirements.
• Monitor tooling for security and availability of cloud security platforms.
• Identify and deliver automation to optimize cloud security tooling delivery.
• Implement scripts, APIs, and orchestration tools to improve processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to democratise cloud security ownership.
• Coach and mentor to foster continuous professional development within the team.
