Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Network and Fabric Operations Solutions Architect to join its Infrastructure Specialist Team. You will lead Day 2 fabric operations, own switch software lifecycles, and advise on InfiniBand/UFM, Spectrum‑X, and NVLink/NVSwitch deployments across large GPU estates.

You will work directly with customers and cross‑functional teams to architect and operate compute, storage, and scale‑out fabrics, delivering reliable performance and structured runbooks for partner networks.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of data centre network architectures and RDMA fabrics (InfiniBand, RoCE/Ethernet).
Experience with InfiniBand and UFM, Spectrum‑X Ethernet, Cumulus Linux and/or SONiC, and NVLink/NVSwitch systems.
Strong Linux admin and switch OS knowledge, plus security considerations for HPC/AI clusters.
Proficiency in Python and Bash, plus IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).

Responsibilities

Lead Day 2 fabric operations across NCP fleets and manage NVLink/NVSwitch partitioning.
Own switch software lifecycles, upgrades, and deployment campaigns.
Support Day 1 validation including InfiniBand/UFM handover and routing/congestion checks.
Provide consultative guidance and runbooks for partner teams to operate fabrics.
Drive fabric reliability metrics: MTBI, goodput, fault detection and remediation.
Engage with customers and cross‑functional teams to deliver architectures and knowledge transfer.
