Job summary

The Children’s Society is seeking a hands‑on, security‑minded Senior Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer to strengthen IT Operations. You’ll manage secure infrastructure across Azure, Microsoft 365 and endpoints for about 700 colleagues, focusing on reliability, resilience and security.

This permanent role is home-based, 35 hours per week, offering a generous benefits package and opportunities to grow your skills within a supportive, values‑driven charity.

Qualifications

• Expert, hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft stack (Azure infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender).
• Proven experience owning an Azure environment end-to-end as technical authority and escalation point.
• Experience designing secure, resilient infrastructure including identity, endpoint management, DR and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secure, reliable infrastructure across Azure, Microsoft 365 and endpoints for around 700 colleagues.
• Act as the technical authority for the Azure environment and escalation point for infrastructure.
• Design and improve secure, resilient infrastructure including identity, endpoint management, disaster recovery and security operations.
