Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services seeks an Enterprise Architect to guide customers through cloud architecture, migration, and solutions delivery for Google's largest customers. You will work cross-functionally with customers and internal teams to shape technical strategy and drive successful outcomes.

The role requires deep experience in customer-facing roles, system design or coding, and hands-on cloud deployments within a global network.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for partners or customers.
Experience in either system design or reading code (Java, C++, or Python).
Masters degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.
10 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
10 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
10 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
10 years of experience in operations management, including process improvement, operational reviews, and workflow optimization.
10 years of experience working with Unix or Linux operating systems and commands.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with executive cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality technical solutions.
Influence major product decisions based on developer feedback or technical expertise.
Lead the scalability of existing solutions and create repeatable best-practices, tutorials, or documentation.
Strategize solution code development with developers, users, partners, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-organizational stakeholders to provide technical guidance and identify offerings.
Work with customers to transform their businesses using Google Cloud Platform.
Provide pre-sales enterprise architecture support, solution delivery, and migration for large customers.
Contribute to RFPs and proposals with sales and customer engineering teams.
Inform scope of services staffing and timelines.
Advise customers on architecture best practices and blueprints for migration to Google Cloud.
Propose, develop, and implement new approaches for execution consistency.
Represent best practices across infrastructure, application, and data modernization.
Collaborate cross-functionally within Google and support partner communities.
