Shape the Future of Cloud Operations!
We're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineering Manager to lead our Operations and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams within Enterprise Cloud. This is an opportunity to lead business-critical cloud operations and help build an engineering-led reliability culture across Enterprise Cloud. As Senior Cloud Engineering Manager, you'll lead 24/7 operations and an expanding Site Reliability Engineering function, creating an environment where people have the clarity, autonomy and support to do their best work. You'll play a key role in embedding modern SRE principles, improving service reliability and reducing operational toil through automation.
Success in this role will be measured by the difference you make. You'll help deliver more resilient and reliable services, reduce incident frequency and customer impact, improve lifecycle compliance and recovery outcomes, increase automation, and create greater transparency around service health, capacity and supplier performance. Just as importantly, you'll build a high-performing, engaged team with the capability and confidence to support BT's future cloud ambitions. The role spans established infrastructure and newer cloud-service capabilities, giving you the opportunity to influence how services are monitored, supported and continuously improved while working across engineering, architecture, cyber security, product, service management and supplier teams. It offers genuine scope to shape operational leadership, modernise ways of working and drive the adoption of SRE practices across Enterprise Cloud.
