Job summary

Paragon is seeking a Lead Cloud & Data Consultant Engineer to drive complex, integration-heavy backend and data platform initiatives across Azure and AWS. You will work directly with end clients to shape solutions, define architecture and own the technical strategy for AI-enabled data pipelines.

The role blends advisory leadership with hands-on design, requiring strong consultative skills and a proven track record in cloud and data platforms.

Qualifications

Strong experience designing and delivering cloud, backend and data platform solutions.
Proven expertise in Azure and/or AWS architecture.
Experience leading integration-heavy technical projects and client-facing consultancy.

Responsibilities

Lead client discovery, scoping and solution-definition workshops.
Translate client challenges into clear architectures and delivery plans.
Own end-to-end architecture for complex backend and data platforms.
Design cloud-native data solutions across Azure and/or AWS.
Architect data accessible to AI agents for natural language analytics.
Embed AI agents into pipelines for extraction, transformation and analysis.
Define safe integration patterns for non-deterministic AI within deterministic systems.
Provide technical leadership across projects, ensuring scalability and security.
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders throughout delivery.
