Job summary

Cloudscaler is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect (AWS) to lead enterprise cloud strategy and governance from our Central London offices, with travel to customer sites as required. You must be eligible for SC clearance and be UK-based.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing cloud strategies for enterprise or public sector clients.
• Ability to establish Cloud Centres of Excellence (CCoE) and operating models.
• Proficient in designing cloud control frameworks, governance, and risk management.
• Leads cost optimisation, security, and observability in large AWS environments.
• Defining and embedding Well Architected principles across large organisations.
• Advises senior stakeholders on cloud adoption and operating model change.
• Develops cloud controls, risks, and ownership for guardrails.
• Leads network strategy, RAM sharing, and performance monitoring.

Senior Cloud Architect (AWS) - (Multiple)

Location: Our offices are in Central London, along with several of our customers. Travel to our customer sites is required, the frequency of which will vary from customer-to-customer. You need to be able to travel onsite to London up to 3 days per week, although onsite requirements will vary week-to-week and customer-to-customer from 0 to 3 days.

Salary: £120,000-£140,000

SC Clearance Requirements:

Due to working with several government bodies, SC clearance is required for all our customer facing teams. You do not need active SC clearance as we will undertake checks upon you joining, but you must be eligible to pass SC clearance. In future, DV clearance may be required, so the ability/willingness to pass DV clearance is advantageous but not essential.

You must be UK-based.
