Job summary

UBDS Group is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to provide technical leadership and own cloud architecture within an agile digital delivery team. You will lead cloud solutions across the delivery, design AWS-based architectures, and guide engineering teams through modern DevOps practices.

The role requires strong AWS expertise, software engineering background (Python/JS/SQL), API design, and a proven ability to influence technical decisions while aligning with security, scalability

Qualifications

• Significant AWS cloud architecture experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Architect, Cloud Architect, Technical Architect or similar.
• Strong software engineering background, ideally across Python, JavaScript and SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience with APIs, integrations and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of GitHub, CI/CD and Docker.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience and scalability.
• Experience providing technical leadership within agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to influence technical decisions.

Due to the security requirements of the assignment, candidates must hold current SC clearance prior to commencing the role and be able to maintain the required clearance.
