Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator to provide governance support for a complex research portfolio. You will work with a team of medical and nursing staff on clinical studies and support the administrative trial team.

Based at our Sutton site with occasional travel to Chelsea and some remote work, you will be flexible and able to work independently or as part of the team, with excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Recent GCP training.
• Life Sciences degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a clinical trial setting (haematology/oncology preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all clinical trials are conducted in accordance with GCP, RMH/SOPs and trial protocols.
• Coordinate portfolio research meetings and monitor trials.
• Oversee day-to-day running of allocated trials and represent Unit at Trial Coordination Forum.
• Prepare and submit regulatory applications (REC, HRA, MHRA) for new proposals.
• Supervise clinical trial coordinators and administrators.
• Ensure trial closures and archiving of documentation.
