A UK NHS Trust is looking for a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This is a one‑year post (extendable for an exceptional candidate) with the post divided between medical education, including simulation‑based teaching, and providing registrar‑level clinical service.
Responsibilities include:
Clinical training: The candidate will be expected to work at ST3+ level. The job plan will include 10 PAs per week, covering education and clinical sessions such as general gynaecology and antenatal clinics, theatre sessions, maternity triage, delivery suite, early pregnancy and gynaecology assessment unit, colposcopy and rapid access. Depending on training needs and existing skill set, opportunities to complete Advanced Training Skills Modules may be negotiated (e.g., Advanced labour ward practice, Advanced antenatal practice, Maternal medicine, early pregnancy, and acute gynaecology). Candidates should be enthusiastic, well‑motivated, and good communicators.
