Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Clinical Scientist, Sepsis to lead the design, execution and reporting of Sobi-sponsored sepsis studies. The role requires medical or scientific credentials with clinical development experience and involves collaboration across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics and Regulatory Affairs.

The position emphasizes rigorous trial design, safety assessment and external engagement, with hybrid working arrangements and regular interaction with international investigators.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with relevant specialization, or an advanced scientific degree with clinical development experience.
• Documented record of accomplishment in drug development programmes.
• Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and trial regulations.
• Experience in acute or critical care interventional trials.
• Understanding of sepsis immunology and biomarker-guided patient selection.

Responsibilities

• Act as clinical scientific lead for Sobi-sponsored sepsis studies and medical monitoring where delegated.
• Plan, design, conduct and report studies with cross-functional HQ teams and Clinical Operations.
• Author protocols/reports and contribute to SDPs and regulatory submissions.
• Support safety reviews and DSMB interactions; manage interim analyses.
• Engage with key opinion leaders and represent Sobi at conferences.
