• Specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for care-experienced children and young people with complex needs.
• Apply attachment-informed, trauma-informed and relational approaches to support positive outcomes.
• Supervise trainees and assistant psychologists as appropriate.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for care-experienced children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural, attachment, trauma-related and neurodevelopmental needs.
• Work with children, young people, carers and professional networks using attachment-informed, trauma-informed and relational approaches to support positive outcomes.
• Offer consultation, reflective practice and psychological advice to foster carers, adopters, social workers, education staff and other professionals.
• Contribute psychological expertise to multidisciplinary and multi-agency discussions, care planning and decision-making.
• Deliver teaching and training to promote psychologically informed and trauma-informed practice across the wider system.
• Supervise and support trainee Clinical Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and other colleagues, as appropriate to experience and grade.
• Lead or contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit, research and evaluation activities.
• Develop psychological leadership within the service and contribute to the continued development of Children in Care CAMHS and the Tiered Foster Care model.
