We are delighted to be recruiting to a 0.6 WTE Clinical Psychologist post within the Paediatric Psychology team in North Devon, part of Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD). As a Clinical Psychologist in the Paediatric Psychology team, you will:
Deliver psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based intervention for children and young people with physical health conditions.
Contribute to paediatric multi-disciplinary team meetings, inpatient ward rounds, and outpatient clinic discussions.
Provide consultation and psychological thinking to other professionals involved in the care of children and young people, including education and social care partners.
Support children and families to manage distress, improve quality of life, and build resilience in the face of medical challenges.
Supervise trainee clinical psychologists and assistant psychologists as appropriate.
Contribute to audit, service evaluation, and development initiatives in line with national guidance and CFHD priorities.
Maintain professional standards of record keeping and clinical governance, and uphold ethical practice.
Engage in individual and peer supervision, CPD, and reflective practice.
Youll be working alongside paediatricians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other key partners, making a real difference to the lives of children and families across the region.
