Job summary

NSFT is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join the psychology team supporting Norfolk's CGL drug and alcohol services and the CoSUM program. You will provide specialist assessment, formulation and intervention for co-occurring conditions, supervise colleagues, and contribute to strategic system development across NSFT.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist.
• Experience with adults with complex mental health needs including substance use.
• Skilled in psychological assessment, formulation and intervention.
• Commitment to co-production of training and services.
• Ability to supervise qualified and trainee psychologists in CGL roles.
• Motivated to influence practice beyond individual clinical work and contribute to system transformation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people with co-occurring presentations at CoSUM.
• Provide specialist consultation to staff across treatment systems.
• Support referral pathways and access to mental health services.
• Facilitate joint case management and integrated care planning.
• Supervise and oversee qualified and trainee psychologists in CGL roles.
• Contribute to service development, audit, evaluation and workforce training.
• Support strategic work of the Lead Psychologist and drive culture change across the local system.
