A prominent healthcare provider in Greenock is seeking an experienced Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join their pharmacy team. You will provide safe, effective clinical pharmacy services to patients, actively participating in surgical wards and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate must be a registered pharmacist with experience in clinical settings and a commitment to improving patient care. This position includes participation in weekend and on-call shifts.

We are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced, innovative and highly motivated pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. As an integral member of the pharmacy team, you will provide person‑centred, safe and effective clinical pharmacy service to patients across all specialties at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
The department is committed to a programme for Supporting Professional Activities time that allows our team to undertake learning and development in line with the RPS Framework pillars and opportunities to advance your clinical practice in line with the Advanced Practice Curriculum are encouraged.
You must be a registered pharmacist with GPhC and have completed Post‑registration Pharmacist Foundation Training (or equivalent experience). You will be expected to have completed or be working towards the Independent Prescriber qualification.
Inverclyde Royal Hospital is a district General Hospital situated in Greenock. We have an excellent team of friendly pharmacy staff committed to improving patient care, particularly ward based medicines management, pharmacist prescribing and e‑health initiatives.
