The Perfusion Department at Castle Hill Hospital is pleased to announce an opening for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Perfusion Scientist who is keen to participate in all aspects of service delivery. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and expertise in the field. While our preference is to appoint at Band 8a, we are open to Band 7 applicants with a view to develop into an 8a.
Castle Hill Hospital, part of the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH), boasts comprehensive cardiothoracic facilities. Approximately 700 cardiac and 700 diagnostic and major thoracic procedures are performed annually, encompassing elective, trauma, and emergency cases. These procedures are conducted within the hospital's three purpose-built, modern theatres, which are equipped with advanced technology.

As a Clinical Perfusion Scientist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safe and effective management of patients' physiological functions. You will be expected to deliver within the framework of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The candidate will provide Clinical Perfusion and specialist services as part of a team and must be fully registered with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists GB&I.
