Job overview

We are delighted to offer full‑time or part‑time opportunities for Clinical or Counselling Psychologists at Band 8a within the Step 4 team, in Nottingham Adult Mental Health Directorate. We are committed to providing successful applicants with support to pursue relevant training.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality, evidence‑based psychological interventions to improve the psychological wellbeing and quality of life of those referred to the service.
  • Support staff and trainees within the service through supervision and case consultation.
  • Provide case consultation more widely across the Trust.
Qualifications

We believe the role is ideally suited to someone who wants to work within a therapy team and apply and develop their therapy skills and interests, including supporting developments in the wider Trust. The postholder will be an integral part of the Step 4 Team, and the Psychological Therapies provision across the Trust.

Additional information

Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced). Costs are deducted from salary following appointment over the first 2 months of employment. An annual fee of £16 per year applies to the DBS Update Service.
