Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in London is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Toxicology & Emergency Medicine. This 12-month post offers NHS trainees in Emergency Medicine the chance to develop skills in Clinical Toxicology while participating in a dynamic clinical environment. Key qualifications include GMC registration and an ST4 level in Emergency Medicine. The position is competitively compensated, with a salary range of £65,048 to £73,992 per annum, excluding London Zone.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold full registration with the GMC.
• Currently an ST3+ in Emergency Medicine in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ED night and weekend rota.
• Develop specialist skills in Clinical Toxicology.
• Supervise junior middle grades, FY2s and ENPs.

Skills

Experience in performing procedures relevant to emergency medicine

Competent to work without supervision

Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Interest in undertaking an OOPTE in Clinical Toxicology

Education

Eligible for registration with the GMC

MRCEM

ST4 level in Emergency Medicine

BSc, BMedSci or other intercalated degree
