Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a trainee for a 12-month Out of Programme Training Experience in Clinical Toxicology and Emergency Medicine. The role involves 50:50 split training in both areas and participation in the Emergency Department’s night and weekend rota. Applicants must be GMC-registered and at ST3+ level in Emergency Medicine. The post begins in August 2025 and offers educational support and training in a specialist center.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold full registration with the GMC.
• Currently be an ST3+ in Emergency Medicine in the UK or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertake specialist training in Clinical Toxicology.
• Participate in middle grade rota working with other senior ED trainees.
• Help deliver Clinical Toxicology education.

Skills

Experience in performing procedures relevant to emergency medicine

Competent to work without supervision

Clear, logical thinking showing an analytical/scientific approach

Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Shows awareness of own limitations

Education

Eligible for registration with the GMC

MRCEM

>= ST4 level in Emergency Medicine

BSc/BMedSci or other intercalated degree
