Job description

Senior Clinical Fellow - Rheumatology - South West England - CESR Support

Triple West Medical has been appointed by an NHS Trust based in South West England to help recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow in Rheumatology for a long-term FTC or substantive position. This is a fantastic opportunity with career development including CESR support.

The NHS organisation is an integrated Trust providing community, acute, and specialist care across multiple sites. With over 7,000 staff, they oversee a population of around 700,000 people and work closely with nearby NHS Trusts.

They are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Clinical Fellow in Rheumatology to join the department.

The department provides care for patients with a broad range of rheumatic diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management when appropriate. Conditions treated include:

  1. Inflammatory arthritis (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout)
  2. Connective tissue diseases (e.g., systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), myositis, Sjogren's syndrome)
  3. Vasculitis (e.g., ANCA vasculitis, Behcet's disease, giant cell arteritis)
  4. Metabolic bone disorders (e.g., osteoporosis, Paget's disease)

GMC registration is essential for this position. The trust is happy to issue Certificates of Sponsorships to suitably qualified overseas doctors.
