Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow with a special interest in Maternal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The post is available to commence immediately and sits at ST6 level, with opportunities to develop a maternal medicine focus across multiple campus clinics and MDTs.

Applicants must be GMC-registered and licensed to practice in the UK, with MRCOG Part 1 completed; Part 3 required for ST6+ consideration.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC-registered and licensed to practice.
• MRCOG Part 1 completed.
• MRCOG Part 3 completed for ST6+ consideration.
• Foundation competencies completed.
• Basic Life Support training is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 1:9 on-call rota at both St James University Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary.
• Daytime hours split 60% clinical fellow time and 40% clinical service time.
• Provide clinical care in Antenatal clinic, Labour ward, Antenatal Day Unit, Maternity Assessment, Gynaecology clinic and theatres.
