Health
  • Meets professional health requirements in line with GMC Standards / Good Medical Practice (GMC check to confirm)
Qualifications
  • Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • FRCS or equivalent
Experience and Skills
  • Specific skills and experience in Vascular Surgery
Desirable criteria
  • Trained Educational Supervisor
  • Interest in Vascular Surgery as a specialty, demonstrated by attendance at appropriate courses, meetings & conferences
  • Trained Clinical Supervisor
Personal
  • Effective communication skills, (with examples)
  • Works well within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Good organisation skills
  • Resident within 30 minutes travel time to Chorley/Preston.
Research and Development
  • Evidence of interest in personal development e.g. through research and/or publications
Desirable criteria
  • Peer reviewed publications - some on Vascular topics.
