Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Urology. The post is based primarily at the new Elective Surgical Hub at King George Hospital, with cross-site responsibilities at Queen's Hospital in Romford.
The role is equivalent to a registrar (ST3+ level) with independent on-call responsibility under consultant supervision, supporting career progression toward CCT in urology.
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Urology to join the team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. This full-time post will be based primarily at our new Elective Surgical Hub at King George Hospital, with additional cross-site responsibilities at Queen's Hospital.
This post is equivalent to a registrar (ST3+ level) service post with independent on-call responsibility under consultant supervision. The service will support the appointee in their career progression, with particular focus on meeting the clinical criteria for CCT.
The successful applicant will join a motivated and expanding team and will be expected to complement the existing workforce, working closely with clinical and managerial colleagues to support the reduction of waiting lists and the delivery of high-quality core urology and stone services
Under consultant supervision contribute to the clinical care of patients in their charge and for the proper functioning of the department.
Deliver a high quality responsive surgical service to the patients who use it within agreed competencies
Independently perform emergency procedures including ureteric stent insertion, suprapubic catheterisation and scrotal exploration under consultant supervision
