A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow to join their General Paediatrics team. The role involves managing acute Paediatric cases, supervising junior doctors, and conducting outpatient clinics. The position offers opportunities for teaching and professional development alongside medical students from the University of Manchester. Applicants should have a medical degree and specialist training in Paediatrics. This is a 12-month position with a friendly and dedicated team committed to providing high-quality patient care.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Fellow (middle grade) to join the General Paediatrics team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation. This post does not involve any cover for the tertiary Neonatal unit within the Trust.
1 position available - 12 month post (may be extendable)
Being part of a teaching hospital you will also have the opportunity to be involved in teaching and training, continuing professional development, and participation in audit and research. You will be able to develop teaching experience and expertise and work alongside medical students from the University of Manchester. You will have the opportunity to deliver formal and informal teaching sessions either on wards or in our Health Academy; which has excellent facilities including a 24 hour library and a simulation suite.
