Senior Clinical Fellow – Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Senior Clinical Fellow will work under the supervision of the Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and will:

  • Provide Registrar level support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
  • Participate in the 1:18 ST3+ rota, including on call.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and carers.
  • Seek appropriate consultant advice when not directly supervised and when difficulties arise.
  • Deputise from time to time for absent colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
Key tasks of the Post
  • This post is 12 months fixed term to cover maternity leave.
  • Provide Registrar level support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
  • Participate in the 1:18 ST3+ rota, including on call.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and carers.
  • Seek appropriate consultant advice when not directly supervised.
